Virtual Event – May 14, 2021 - Randy Gillary

Topic: Contracts, Commissions, and Communication:  High-Impact Advice from a Rep-Focused Attorney
Presenter: Randy Gillary, The Law Offices of Randall J. Gillary, P.C.

Mr. Gillary will present a narrative on a variety of topics that affects Manufacturers’ Representatives.   Areas of interest to be covered:

“As far as I know, I am the only attorney in the U.S. whose entire practice is limited to litigating sales commission disputes on behalf of the sales representative and negotiating sales rep agreements on behalf of sales representatives. We do not represent any principals. I am in my 42nd year of practicing law. The last 30 years or so has been almost exclusively involved the litigation of sales commission disputes and in drafting and negotiating sales rep agreements. One of the missions of my practice is to help to educate sales reps so that they can negotiate their own sales representation agreements. It is still important to get legal advice during the process but it is not practical to bring a lawyer to your negotiating sessions with your principal. Knowledge is power. The more knowledge that sales reps have when they negotiate with their principals, the more likely it is that they will have a better outcome”

Randy Gillary is recognized as a top legal expert on sales commissions.  He has handled landmark sales commission cases and is an active litigator, counselor, legal writer and lecturer.  His law practice is devoted to insuring that sales professionals are paid the commissions they have earned.  He is also the author of Protecting Your Commissions – A Sales Representative’s Guide.

To contact him or to order a copy of his book, you may visit his website at www.gillarylaw.com, call 800-801-0015, go to amazon.com, or contact him at The Law Offices of Randall J. Gillary, P.C., 201 W. Big Beaver Road, Ste. 1020, Troy, MI 48084
