All of this from a small manufacturer in Dayton, OH.
Steve Staub is President of Staub Manufacturing Solutions, a contract manufacturing company specializing in metal fabrication located in Dayton Ohio. Steve and his sister Sandy Keplinger founded the company with the help of their father in April 1997. Steve is heavily involved in the advancement of the manufacturing industry and tirelessly works to solve the workforce development crises.
Serves on the Board of Directors and is on the Executive Committee for the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM)
Serves on the Board of Directors for the Ohio Manufacturers Association (OMA)
Founding member and serves on the Board of Directors for XtremeSTEM (a hands on workforce development program to get kids interested in the manufacturing industry)
Hosted then candidate Donald Trump for a manufacturer’s roundtable in fall 2016 at their plant.
Part of a roundtable with 11 other manufactures in the White House with the President and Vice-President in March 2017.
With his sister Sandy and Corey the welder were guests of the First Lady and recognized during the State of the Union in January 2018.
Testified in front of the US House Ways & Means Committee in Washington DC about workforce development in March 2018.
He has served and does serve on several Boards of Advisors for privately owned companies.
Steve also serves on several workforce development boards for higher education / training.
In November 2018 Staub Manufacturing Solutions was named Manufacturing Business of The Year by the Dayton Business Journal – this is the 3rd time SMS has won this award.
Along with his wife Erin, their daughters Madeline and Amelia, Steve lives in Tipp City Ohio in an 1830’s farm house they recently finished restoring.
